ABOUT

Licensed attorney. Employment law expert. Founder of Hall-Jackson and Associates, PLLC. These are just a few of the titles that Chiquita Hall-Jackson holds. But none truly capture her fierce advocacy for marginalized employees and her passion for creating equitable workplaces in Illinois and beyond. After facing race and gender bias in her own career, Chiquita used her personal experiences to power her professional purpose. Her courtroom superpower is speaking up for those whose voices have been silenced by workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Chiquita believes the workplace should be a safe, welcoming environment and she’s dedicated her life’s work to ensuring minorities are seen, heard and respected from the backroom to the boardroom. As an expert in diversity, equity and inclusion, Chiquita has nearly a decade of experience on the plaintiff side of the law. It’s no wonder she was named the first Black President of the National Employment Lawyers Association of Illinois. In addition to her years fighting for workers’ rights, she’s an adjunct law professor with a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.

While she’s relentless about advancing more equitable and diverse workplace conditions, she’s also proud of running a successful law firm for 8 years and becoming a licensed attorney.
